As you listen to the Acora Acoustics SRC-2 loudspeaker, you will hear immersive space and imaging. You will hear deep, authoritative yet articulate bass. You will hear fine detail and depth.
Acora loudspeakers will reveal many things you simply haven’t heard before. What you won’t hear is the enclosure. Acora Acoustics loudspeakers are constructed using handcrafted, specially treated, natural granite enclosures. The rigidity of granite far exceeds that of traditional particle board or wood enclosures. One of the benefits of this is, as the SRC-2’s drivers move to push air / create sound, the enclosure isn’t absorbing this energy, dulling or smearing the sound.
Another benefit of the Acora enclosure is that it does not need internal bracing to “stiffen” the enclosure. This means that internal cross bracing is not required. No internal bracing means no additional reflections inside the enclosure that will vibrate the low frequency drivers.
The SRC-2 utilizes world-class drivers and a hand-built crossover network, however the real secret to the Acora Sound, is that you only hear these, not the enclosure.
DRIVERS
The SRC series is built around a carefully selected and expertly refined driver set, each one modified and perfected by Acora to meet our exacting standards — not just for precision, but for musicality.
The midrange and bass drivers, based on renowned paper cone designs, are individually tuned to deliver natural warmth, dynamic energy, and lifelike tonal balance. Through proprietary adjustments and voicing, we've enhanced their ability to reveal subtle textures and emotional nuance, resulting in a sound that feels effortlessly alive.
In the high frequencies, a beryllium dome tweeter brings sparkling extension, speed, and air, carefully integrated to maintain cohesion and natural flow. Our tuning ensures the treble remains clear and detailed, yet always inviting.
The SRC drivers work in harmony to serve that singular vision: authentic, emotionally engaging sound that draws you in and holds you there.
Tweeter
A carefully selected beryllium dome tweeter, voiced for smooth, extended highs, integrates effortlessly with the system — requiring no resistors in the signal path, preserving clarity, immediacy, and musicality.
Midrange/Woofer
A custom-voiced paper cone woofer delivers natural warmth, fast transients, and deep, articulate bass.Tuned by Acora for tonal balance and dynamic expression, it anchors the music with authority and grace.
Crossover
The SRC crossover is the result of exacting engineering and countless hours of listening. Designed for perfect phase alignment and driver integration, it allows each component to perform at its best — with effortless coherence and dynamic ease. Internally, the layout is optimized for signal purity and mechanical isolation.
Acora Acoustics designs speakers for room sizes. The SRC-2 is designed for rooms from 250 to 2000 square feet.
