Synergistic Research Galileo LUX Interconnects
Galileo Lux interconnects were created with a simple intention: to preserve the natural flow of music as it moves from source to preamplifier, and from preamplifier to power amplifier. Each stage of the signal has different demands, and Galileo Lux honors this reality with an asymmetric voicing strategy shaped by UEF tuning. Rather than imposing a single signature across the entire chain, each interconnect is refined for the role it plays.
The Source-to-Pre interconnect is voiced to reveal the low-level nuance that defines the character of a recording—texture, tonal shading, spatial cues, and the delicate harmonic information that emerges only when noise is kept exceptionally low. Its UEF balance brings clarity without edge, ensuring that fine detail arrives with ease and without shifting the emotional center of the music.
The Pre-to-Power interconnect is voiced differently. Here, the signal carries greater dynamic weight, broader swings in voltage, and the responsibility of preserving scale, impact, and coherence. Its UEF tuning provides a touch more foundation, grip, and dynamic stability, allowing the system to open fully without losing the liquidity and calm that define Galileo Lux.
Together, the two voicings complement each other, forming a continuous path that feels unified and natural. The transition from one stage to the next becomes invisible, as if the system were breathing in a single, effortless motion. Galileo Lux interconnects do not call attention to themselves; they simply reveal the music with a balance and grace that mirrors the intention behind the loom.
UEF Matrix Shield with Graphene
Galileo Lux Matrix Shielding
In our journey to voice Galileo Lux, we developed a new UEF compound to bring our Matrix Shielding into alignment with the loom’s core intent: to balance resolution with musicality while lowering the noise floor and easing the subtle constraints that shielding can place on signal flow.
This next-generation formulation, derived from the SRX XL series, is applied to Galileo Lux in its intended expression, ensuring that the shielding contributes not only to quiet backgrounds, but also to the effortless, unrestrained presentation that defines the Lux experience.
Enhanced Cable Geometries
6N Pure Silver Airstrings and Ribbon Conductors
While voicing Galileo Lux, we applied the same disciplined approach used in our reference designs—employing pure silver in both the ribbon laminate and multi-gauge AirString conductors for its superior conductivity, low energy storage, and natural harmonic integrity. This combination delivers speed, texture, and tonal refinement with a stability that reflects the intent behind the loom.
Quantum Tunneling
High Voltage Conditioning
Our High Voltage Conditioning is designed to refine the field environment a cable operates within. Rather than altering the conductor itself, the process stabilizes the dielectric and conductor interface by releasing trapped charge and settling microscopic domains. This reduces noise, lowers hysteresis, and creates a cleaner, more coherent boundary for the electromagnetic field to propagate.
For Galileo Lux, we used the most advanced form of this process, aligned specifically to achieve the sonic balance the loom was created to express. In practice, this meant reworking the conditioning curve to deliver the precise combination of resolution, ease, and musical flow that defines the Lux experience.
