Synergistic Research Galileo LUX Power Cable
Galileo Lux is Synergistic Research’s universally voiced reference loom—created to bring effortless liquidity, tonal richness, and high-resolution clarity to curated systems assembled with the intention to balance detail with musicality.
It delivers that balance with ease, expressing its character where musical flow meets holographic scale and natural detail, without requiring external grounding, or field-tuning components to perform as intended.
And for listeners who have cultivated a fully optimized SR Six-Pillars environment, Galileo Lux responds with quiet authority—scaling in resolution, impact, and spaciousness while always preserving the graceful musicality that defines its sound.
The Galileo Lux power cables extend the loom’s design language with the same dual-geometry foundation: a pure silver ribbon laminate for tonal richness and harmonic density, paired with strategically gauged pure 6N silver monofilament conductors suspended in an air dielectric for speed, clarity, and effortless resolution. This architecture establishes the composure and liquidity that define the Lux experience, even before the first note is played.
Where the interconnects and speaker cables achieve their balance through asymmetric internal voicing, the Galileo Lux power cables offer the listener a more personal level of refinement. Each cord is designed to be user-voiced, allowing warmth, liquidity, air, and inner detail to settle into the proportion that best suits the system and the listener’s taste. This is not tuning for effect—it is tuning for alignment, shaping the electromagnetic field at the point where the component meets the AC supply.
Because the power cable sets the field conditions for the entire signal chain, its voicing becomes the foundation upon which the rest of the system organizes itself. Interconnects—analog or digital—and speaker cables naturally follow the harmonic and spatial balance created at the power interface.
Voice the power cord, and you have voiced all the cables associated with that component. The system locks into coherence, the presentation stabilizes, and the music takes on the effortless flow and graceful clarity that define Galileo Lux.
UEF Matrix Shield with Graphene
Galileo Lux Matrix Shielding
In our journey to voice Galileo Lux, we developed a new UEF compound to bring our Matrix Shielding into alignment with the loom’s core intent: to balance resolution with musicality while lowering the noise floor and easing the subtle constraints that shielding can place on signal flow.
This next-generation formulation, derived from the SRX XL series, is applied to Galileo Lux in its intended expression, ensuring that the shielding contributes not only to quiet backgrounds, but also to the effortless, unrestrained presentation that defines the Lux experience.
The Galileo Lux tuning modules shape performance by influencing the electromagnetic field surrounding the cable—not the signal path itself. In a field-propagation framework, the signal is carried in the space around the conductor, guided by the boundaries formed by the conductor, dielectric, and shield.
Small changes in this surrounding field can shift how energy launches, settles, and decays within the cable, subtly altering the balance of warmth, liquidity, air, and detail.
Enhanced Cable Geometries
6N Pure Silver Airstrings, DC Biased Silver Ribbon Laminate
While voicing Galileo Lux, we applied the same disciplined approach used in our flagship SRX XL power cords—employing pure silver in both the ribbon laminate and the multi-gauge AirString conductors for their superior conductivity, low energy storage, and natural harmonic integrity.
Within this architecture, the ribbon laminate incorporates a dedicated DC layer in which two pure silver ribbons—one positive and one neutral—work together to stabilize the AC’s electromagnetic field while directing high-frequency noise to ground where it belongs, preventing it from riding on the AC and interacting with the signal.
This structure forms a flexible EM Cell based on our patented technology, creating a more coherent field environment for the signal to propagate. The result is a cable that delivers speed, texture, and tonal refinement with the quiet, assured stability that defines the Galileo Lux experience.
Each tuning module introduces a different UEF-defined field condition, adjusting dielectric polarization and the boundary-layer behavior that governs EM propagation. These changes affect how the field interacts with adjacent surfaces and components, reducing microscopic turbulence and altering how harmonics develop within the system. The result is a refined way to set the tonal and spatial equilibrium without ever touching the signal itself.
One module creates a field that is slightly more open and extended, encouraging greater resolution and spaciousness; the other settles the environment into a warmer, more liquid state with enhanced harmonic density.
Neither option imposes itself—they simply guide the boundaries through which the signal travels, allowing the system to express the version of Galileo Lux that feels most natural in your room, with your components, and with your listening preferences.
This is field tuning executed with precision: a calm, intentional way to bring the entire system into balance through the quiet influence of the EM environment—fully aligned with the design philosophy of Galileo Lux.
